  Scribble Sculptures
Julieann's latest body of work is underpinned by a research enquiry into scribble theory. These are the first pieces in the new series on display at Rabley Contemporary Drawing in Marlborough.
  Large Willow Sphere
Made at Ropley primary School as part of a Creative Approaches to Maths project, this large willow and steel frame sphere is eccentrically woven with green willow.

wire swallows
Julieann has always loved swallows and has been sketching them for years. Using mild steel wire in a scribbly fashion she has also been working directly from the swallows to create these lively sculptures.

Boxing Hares at RUH Bath Hospital
These 2, new, wire boxing hares are each around 5 feet long. They are on display in the first interior courtyard beyond the main hospital entrance.
  Heart & Hares
A large woven willow heart with a series of wire hares running around it's edges. 2 metres tall x 1.3 metres wide. 2008. In a private collection currently on display at the Millstream Restaurant, Marden, Devizes.
  Little wire boxing hares
Small sketch sculptures of hares made out of wire and displayed on a steel rod in reclaimed terracotta thumb pots.
  Thomsons hares
A pair of painted willow and wire boxing hares on display above the entrance to Thomsons Delicatessen in Pewsey.
 
experimental ``Swallows`` drawing installation
Julieann participated in the Rabley Contemporary Drawing Centre summer experimental drawing workshop to try out some new ideas. Whilst there she became transfixed by a family of swallows swooping to drink from puddles and catching flies for their young. This installation made up of drawn, painted and folded paper on steel wires resulted from her sketches. See more at www.rableydrawingcentre.com/about.htm

Newly unveiled at the Puthall Park Sculpture Show, Marlborough is this 2 m tall figure sculpture made out of wire and LED lights.

In Passing Exhibition

Bittern Maquette

Joy
Drawing, graphite on brown paper. 2.5m x 1.5m. Made during Julieann's residency in Kerala, India 1994. This large drawing depicts the British sign language alphabet hand signs for Joy.

Pagan Angel Drawing
5/ Pagan Angel Drawing Graphite on brown paper. 2m x 1.75m. Held in a private collection. This large drawing was made during Julieann's year as artist in residence to Wiltshire Education Authority in 1992/3 as a development of work she was doing in primary schools with shadow puppetry and her interest in the religious tryptich and African art and dance.
